Salmon Cheese Puff Pastry
INGREDIENTS:
1 Package of Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry Sheets, softened to room temperature
5.2 oz of Garlic & Fine Herbs Cheese (your choice)
1 Pound of Salmon (skin off)
1 tsp sea salt, for salmon
1 tsp pepper, for salmon (option)
1 Egg, beaten to brush on pastry
FOR THE DIPPING SAUCE:
1 (10.75 ounce) Can condensed Cream of Mushrooms
DIRECTIONS: These Salmon Pastry are actually very simple to make.
Spread the cheese and layer salmon.
Roll, brush beaten egg on top of pastry
bake 425 F degree for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Note: cover lightly with aluminum foil to prevent from burning
But for a more specific step by steps:
Preheat oven to 425F degree (220C degree).
Place ½ of the cheese spread onto one pastry sheet
Add ½ of the salmon on top of the cheese spread pastry sheet
Roll and transfer the puff pastry-wrapped salmon to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Brush the beaten egg on the top and sides of the pastry.
Repeat steps 2-5 for the second pastry sheet.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, until pastry is golden brown.
Slice, then serve!
